This week from September 11-15, 2019 is the Congressional Black Caucus Annual Legislative Conference. Thousands of students, professionals of all disciplines, and politicians will convene on political measures that affect the African American community.
Simultaneously, for those interested in having a hand in public policy, consider applying for fellowships, or internships (application cycle ends November 15th), or to get involved with the CBC. This can be an excellent opportunity to share your talents and be exposed to this type of political landscape. Scholarship opportunities are also available!
If you're in the Washington DC area this week, register to attend the conference and sit in on the policy forums, head to social settings throughout the city for opportunities to network with professionals in the field.
